I found that colour of most poster are warm colour ,like brown, oragne. May be it can show the tasty and good feeling!

I spent quite lot of time to practice drawing rocks. Here are my practices:

a great poster

This is poster of the Hong Kong International poster triennial 2010. The poster consists of 2 papers.




The bottom one is “當下”, which means “at this moment”, while the upper one is “活在”, which means “act ”.


The bottom paper which shows “at this moment” is very formal, it has black background and white text. This shows that “the moment” is very concrete.





The upper paper showing “act” is translucent in nature. It expresses an idea that “act” is not so concrete, we can choose our own way to act and live.






To combine, the poster shows the idea that we can choose our own way to act at this moment. This is really a great and special poster!

my logo design

Because I will go to Guailin to teach student about EQ course, I have to design a logo of this programme.

The first logo consists of 2 “e”, and if you read it as a whole, you can see that there is a “Q”. So this means we are going to have EQ lesson.
Also, the 2 “e” represent 2 birds, they are playing together, which means we will have nice time with students in Guailin.

The second logo is much colorful. The words inside those balls represent our group name, 東江耀祖. Those balls represent children and our group members. It means that we can play together and have fun!

Mixture of animals and vegetable

Creating mixture really need great observation ability. Just like the following examples, the designer discovers the characteristics of vegetables and animals, and then mixes them together.

I love drawing plum the most, as it is beautiful and it have strong personality in traditional chinese view. In our mind, plum is very strong and cool, as it grows under cold environment, which can fight with strong winds. I love its personality very much!

I really love mixture of something. It is because the designer need to recognize the characteristics of the particular object, and then takes its special part to mixture with another objects.
